This course includes the following: significant, individuals, issues and events in U.S. history since Reconstruction to the present; geographic influences upon the historical and economic development and growth of the U.S., and social, cultural, political and technological developments of the E.S. through current times. Historical content focuses on the political, economic, and social events and issues related to industrialization and urbanization, major wars, domestic and foreign policies of the Cold War and post-Cold War eras, and reform movements including civil rights.
